David Craig
TPC Craig Ranch

I took over 100 shots of the course and, while many of the holes would make wonderful paintings, I kept coming back to the limestone creek and clubhouse as the true distinguishing features of the course.   As a result,  I focused on those elements in my image proposals and they are incorporated into most of the shots.

Keep in mind that these are merely reference photos and I will use my artistic license to dramatize the sky, remove construction equipment, add lighting effects, etc.

My personal favorite is Image 2.  However, this painting is for you and not me.  Please let me know which image you prefer and I will start the painting process.  If you have any suggestions for shots not featured please let me know.

For the most part, the pictures below are cropped to fit either an 18 x 24 canvas or a 15 x 30 canvas.  There are a couple that would be painted on a square canvas or I would build a custom panoramic canvas to fit the piece.

Panoramic scene of 18 with clubhouse and creek

IMAGE 2

Hole #1 from the tips.  Shows off the signature limestone creek.  This is my personal favorite of all and would be my recommendation for the piece.

IMAGE 3

Extended panoramic scene.  Would require a custom canvas but would make a very unique piece.

Another nice shot of 18

A better shot of #6 with the light hitting the bank of the creek.

Another nice par 3 that incorporates the creek.

A great shot that would really show depth in the painting and feature the creek
