PRICING - While the artist does reserve some flexibility on price depending on detail required, generally original paintings are priced at $4.00 per square inch. Charcoal portraits are priced at $400 for an individual and $100 for each additional person added to the piece. Prices for existing Limited Edition prints are listed on the Prints for Sale page
PAYMENT - Tom is equipped to take cash, check, paypal or credit card. For commission pieces, Tom requires 1/2 the cost up front with last half coming as the piece nears completion. Applicable taxes and shipping are not included in the listed price.
TURN AROUND TIME FOR ORIGINAL PAINTINGS- Tom works amazingly fast and works in Acrylic paint. Therefore paintings are ready to ship upon completion as no extensive drying time is needed. On average, Tom can complete about 1 square foot of canvas per day. Turn around time varies depending on how many projects may already be in the works. The artist will work with you as much as possible if you have a time sensitive need.
COMMISSIONING AN ORIGINAL PAINTING - Tom will work with you to determine your needs as far as subject matter, size of the piece and obtaining photo references. A thumbnail sketch or mock up will be provided if needed. Typically, email and phone calls between Tom and the client are all that are needed. It's an easy process for the client. GICLEE PRINTS - Tom's fine art prints are hand signed and numbered, come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are printed on archival quality paper or canvas using the giclee printing process and archival quality inks. Prints are generally shipped unstretched and rolled in an art tube. This both better protects the piece and greatly reduces shipping cost. Framing and stretching is provided upon request at an additional charge
